A student research team investigating microplastic release from Ibaraki's landfills — from field sampling and microscopy to modelling and visualisation.
The team is organised around the problem, not around titles. Roles rotate: whoever collects a sample also learns to count it under the microscope, and whoever builds the model also has to defend its assumptions. Everything we publish states its limits openly — our figures are estimates, and we say so.
